Working on...

I've been working on a few new designs. Here are a few pics of my latest creations. I love animal print fabrics. They  never go out of style and can be used in so many creative ways. I've had this fabric stashed away for a while now and could not decide what to make with it. I have to say, "I love the outcome!"

Oh, and I have also been working on new fabric designs. They are so precious and so whimsical. You know me,  I have to throw in a little bit of whimsy in there somewhere. I put in a little bit of of funk, a pinch of whimsy and a dash of class. That my friends is a perfect recipe!  Stay tuned to see what I create next!!!

xoxo :o)

My Prayer

I once heard someone say this statement, and I have to say that it hit me like a brick! It made me think long and hard about what my ambitions and goals in life are.

My prayer to my heavenly Daddy is this, "Father help me to follow your heart. Help me to never compromise you for the things of this world. To love your way and not the world's way. To reflect you in everything I do and say. Let the people see you in me. To be holy as you are holy. Let me see people the way you see them - with a loving and gentle heart no matter how unloveable they are. It is not easy, but with the help of your Holy Spirit that lives within me it is possible. Also, help me to teach my children your way of doing things and not the world's way, so they shall never depart from you."

This my friends is my heart's desire!

Before & After

I sketched this adorable little hummingbird & petals, and added them to the picture. It makes the pic a little more cheerful.

Gardening Rewards

Lots of work and care goes into tending a garden. Wether it be a flower or vegetable garden the reward is oh so worth it. We love to see vases and such around our home filled with fresh cut flowers from our garden. It is an awesome feeling to enjoy!

My beautiful Mother made these. She keeps our home so joyful with her whimsical and gentle spirit. You just have to love her so.

Made with the the bold, rich and vibrant leaves of a
hydrangea shrub we have in our garden

Dahlias and Zinnias combo. Love these flowers in particular because they are
low maintenance.

I love everything RED (Sigh)

Red is my absolute favorite color. It is bright, cheerful, whimsical yet funky all at once. For me it is a color that can be used in any decor in all seasons. (in my book anyhow)

Hence these curtains, my husband build these. I drew up a little sketch and he delivered. We wanted something different, so, this is what we came up with. One might say that it's a little wacky, but I absolutely love it! It truly captures our personality.

I also made these pillow covers to go with the whole theme. I made them with snap buttons in the back which makes them very practical. When dirty just remove the cover, put it in with the rest of the wash and voila they 're clean again.

Just Designed

I was just doodling around and came up with these cute designs. Problem is that I can't decide which one is prettier. What do you think? :o)

Busy Working On...

I've been working on designing a few vintage inspired jewelry. I just love everything vintage! I sometimes believe that I was born in the wrong era. (smile)

I have tried my best to put a little bit of my whimsical personality into every piece I make. I believe that each design should have a little reflection of its designer.

I have made a few wristlets as well.

and have also started a baby couture line with a vintage flair.

We quilted this fabric ourselves. Ohh, it looks so beautiful in person!

Busy...Busy...

Hello everyone! Haven't been here in a while. I've been busy designing and creating, while being a wife and a mom all at once. Overall, my family comes first. It's a gift from God and something to be treasured.

As for today a bunch of new and absolutely delicious products have been uploaded to our online store. Here's a peek of just a few.

My other little man

No matter how old my boys get they will always be my little men. I am sure that Angel will beg to differ - since he's all grown up and all. As for me, it doesn't matter how old they get, they will always be my babies!

60 Years of Love...

I wanted to share a few pics of my family and I at my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. Yeap...I said 60! Can you believe 60 years of love and 17 children later. Yeap...I said 17 children!
Hard to believe..huh!

My Mom and Dad will be having their 30th soon and they are still very much in love. God willing my sweet hubby and I will continue to walk down that road too. Leo and I will have our 20th in 2011 and are also very much in love. I truly thank God for his favor and blessing. He (God) has been the center of my home and I believe it's what truly keeps us together in the good and in the bad!

I also have to say that Grandma and Mom have truly been an inspiration to me. With their example they have taught me how to be both a wife and a mother and for that I am truly greatful!

Oh So Whimsy

These little guys add so much character to these adorable wristlets. I cut and apply each piece by hand and  I have also embellished each one with beautiful swarovski crystals to give it a glamoury glittery look. Handle straps are removeable, so you can use as a wristlet or a clutch bag. They look so lively and so cute with their little rosy cheeks and all!
